ABOUT iNNTD

Founded by Lora Brawley of Nanny Care Hub in 2012, NNTD promotes awareness of the importance of nanny training and raising the quality of nanny care. In 2015, Sue Downey of Nannypalooza took over the coordination efforts and helps volunteers and agencies put on their events in 30+ cities. National Nanny Training Day moved international in 2016 with events hosted in countries like the UK, Canada, and Australia! This (inter) national initiative is part of Week of the Young Child, an annual celebration sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. This is a way to shine a light on local communities of nannies and provide an affordable professional development and networking opportunities.

In 2022, Carrie Bland planned the first iNNTD event in Indianapolis and started the group now known as Circle City Nannies, a networking group that regularly hosts nanny events, play dates, and trainings. The first year there were 11 nannies in attendance and it has continued to grow each year as word spreads and more and more nannies get involved in the in-person community. Cannot wait to see what 2024 has in store!

Our 2024 Event

Organized for nannies by nannies

Join us Saturday, April 13th from 8:30a-4:00p at The Manor at the Children's Museum, 3050 N. Meridian St. Indianapolis. Parking available on street across from Manor or in parking lot north of the museum.

Wear something you're comfortable in! We will have a photographer on site for the morning taking headshots and behind the scenes images from our sessions. If you wish to have a head shot taken, that is included in your ticket price.

Bring a notebook and a pen (although there will likely be a writing tool in your swag bag!). We will have coffee and water availble throughout the day. Lunch is included in your ticket price.
